Gaetan Roy
has a pretty long itinerary behind him as a
Realtor in
Canada and Florida.
Real
Estate Broker with Capital Commercial Real Estate Group in Hallandale, Gaetan Roy
was born in Quebec where he got a B.A., then worked successively in
Electronic Data Processing(Computers) until 1976 and Real Estate (1976 to
1990). From 1976 on,
Gaetan Roy sold Residential, Income Properties(Commercial and
Residential), Businesses and even farms.
In 1980,
Gaetan Roy founded his own Real Estate Brokerage Company
Gaetan Roy & Ass., near Montreal, purchased, listed and sold
several Real Properties while completing at night a Degree in Sciences of
Administration (D.S.A.) at H.E.C. (Universite de Montreal).
His major sale during that period was Place St-Laurent(a major
commercial/residential complex) closed in 1984 for a price of $4,250,000.

residential units in the Montreal area in addition to his personal
residential property in St-Lambert, on Montreal South Shore.

then, it was Florida, as narrated by Gaetan Roy himself.
I am well
known as a Realtor with 30 years of experience (18 in
Florida).
I
am very proud of the road covered even more so because I had to work very
hard when I started in Florida,
with files ranging
from $20,000. (small condo) to $500,000.(higher-end property and
commercial files). It is understandable that Canadians sellers
have entrusted me with their properties in great numbers, but I have also
sold several
Americans’ properties as well.
Buyers
have come from Canada or USA about evenly.
From 1990 to today,
I was associated with a local Broker and then RE/MAX. In the year
2000, I obtained 3 awards: 100% Club, Most closed transactions and Most
Listings at RE/MAX Consultants. From 1990 to 2006, I worked mostly
residential Real Estate. In Canada, I worked both Residential and
Commercial, and I missed this broader field of action. So, in 2007, I
joined Capital Commercial Real Estate, a firm devoted to Commercial
and Residential. There are 50-60 specialists there and hundreds of
exclusive Commercial and Residential Listings, and I thrive in this
environment.
I like what
I do and am still quite active . In fact, I obtained my last degree in 2003:
C.I.P.S. (Certified International Property Specialist) which attests my
experience with an international clientele. My motto is:
Integrity/Quick Sale/Easy Purchase! My success is often related to
previous clients’ referrals.
